COMPASS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM @ P.S. 223

Our afterschool services go beyond supervision. We provide a meaningful connection to the school day, ensuring that children continue to learn after the school bell rings. The COMPASS program offers a wide range of benefits to youth, families and the community. Our goal is to boost academic performance, promote physical health, and provide a safe, structured environment for the children. Activities may change at the beginning of each semester (September, February, and summer) based on interest and school/community needs; however, all our afterschool programs maintain a mix of homework help and a menu of enrichment activities throughout the year.
